About The Huntington Library
The Huntington Library is a nonprofit institution that presents the public with the opportunity to learn about a culture, tour its famous art collections, and enjoy rare books. Founded by Henry E. Huntington in 1919, the library was created out of his joy for art, deep appreciation for education, and love of nature. The Huntington Library features historical manuscripts, a wide selection of books, and paintings from both American and British culture. It also boasts a whimsical botanical garden with ceramic statues and concrete benches for all to enjoy. For hours of operation, visit huntington.org
