About The Rose Bowl Parade
The famous Rose Bowl Parade has a long history as an American tradition and has been helping ring in the New Year since 1890. What began as a small promotional event for the city of Pasadena, CA has now grown into a huge celebration that features marching bands and motorized floats. Each float is handcrafted with both local roses and exotic flowers that are imported from around the world. With such detail and craftsmanship, many of the floats take a whole year to build.
